New York, NY – March 18, 2025 – Mother Goose Health is excited to announce that Lindsey Crouse Mitrook has joined the company as Head of Health Policy and Health Care Finance Strategy. In this role, Lindsey will spearhead efforts to expand value-based care models, strengthen partnerships with Medicaid programs, and advance innovative policy strategies that improve maternal and behavioral health outcomes.
Lindsey brings over 17 years of experience in healthcare finance, managed care contracting, and value-based care. Most notably, she has extensive expertise designing, implementing, and managing value-based care models for maternity, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment — areas critical to improving maternal health outcomes.
In her previous role as Director of Value-Based Care & Strategy at AmeriHealth Caritas, Lindsey developed and launched alternative payment models across 13 Medicaid markets, including episode payment models for chronic conditions, maternity care, and behavioral health. Her leadership played a vital role in enhancing care quality, improving outcomes, and aligning incentives to better serve vulnerable populations.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsey to our team,” said Kenneth A. Levey, MD, MPH, CEO, Mother Goose Health. “Her deep knowledge of Medicaid programs and proven experience implementing innovative value-based models make her the ideal leader to help Mother Goose Health expand its impact in maternal healthcare.”
Lindsey holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Leo University and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Public Health Administration from the University of Florida.
“I’m excited to join Mother Goose Health and contribute to its mission of transforming maternal care,” said Lindsey. “By expanding value-based care models and strengthening partnerships with Medicaid programs, we can create sustainable solutions that improve outcomes for mothers and families.”
